Highlights from the 2019 EMS Leadership Conference
Northern AHEC partnered with Fort Drum Regional Health Planning Organization and Catskill AHEC to host the 2019 EMS Leadership Conference. EMTs, paramedics, and firefighters came from Champlain to Buffalo, from the Canadian to the Pennsylvania border, to learn about regulations and best practices surrounding EMS services. Whether volunteer, nonprofit or commercial, these entities can be complicated businesses to run, and, until now, there has been little professional development available for EMS officers to learn the ropes and keep up with state and national guidelines.
