Workforce Readiness: Older Adult Care

MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID TRAINING

Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based, early-intervention course that teaches participants about mental health and substance use challenges. This training is especially beneficial for those who work with older adults, as it helps them recognize age-related mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, and dementia, and respond with appropriate support and resources.

DEMENTIA REALITY SIMULATION

Imagine seeing through the eyes of someone with dementia; experiencing firsthand their daily frustrations and challenges.
