NAHEC provides Narcan training and harm reduction education for people in the North Country. The training covers key facts about opioids and substance use, Narcan usage, and drug test strips. NAHEC also offers information on the war on drugs, local overdose statistics, and practical harm reduction strategies. This training is available to students, teachers, community members, health professionals, and anyone interested in preventing overdoses.

As part of the larger New York State AHEC System, NAHEC is one of nine centers in the State of New York offering statewide capacity for addressing healthcare workforce needs.
