P-TECH

P-TECH is a new model for secondary education that trades the traditional classroom for “innovation spaces” through group collaboration and hands-on learning.

Rural Immersion

NAHEC partners with Colleges and rural communities hospitals Rural giving students from urban settings the chance to see the benefits and challenges of providing healthcare in a rural environment.

M.A.S.H Camps

M.A.S.H Camp is a fun and educational day camp for students to explore health careers. Students are exposed to a variety of health professions, covering everything from on-the-job-training to an advanced college degree.

AHEC Scholars

The NYS AHEC Scholars Program is a two-year, interdisciplinary program with a defined set of clinical, didactic, and community-based training activities.

The Bruce C. Potter Memorial Scholarship

In 2011, NAHEC established the Bruce C. Potter Memorial Scholarship as a legacy to honor Bruce’s tireless commitment to building healthcare access for those most in need.  The scholarship is a competitive annual award for High School Seniors or Non-Traditional learners in good standing who have completed one or more NAHEC programs, and have been accepted and will be entering a healthcare training program within the next semester cycle.
