MAKING HEALTHCARE EDUCATION ACCESSIBLE

Higher education opportunities can be cost-prohibitive. One of NAHEC’s core goals is the help make healthcare education more accessible for all students. We are proud to offer scholarship opportunities for the students in our region.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Has completed one or more NAHEC programs

• Is pursuing a career in a healthcare profession

• Exhibits integrity and is dedicated to providing care to underserved communities in our region

Bruce C. Potter SCHOLARSHIP

In 2011, NAHEC established the Bruce C. Potter Memorial Scholarship as a legacy to honor Bruce’s tireless commitment to building healthcare access for those most in need. The scholarship is a competitive annual award for High School Seniors or College Students in good standing who have completed one or more NAHEC programs (MASH Camp, Rural Immersion, or Rural Health Exploration) and have been accepted and will be entering a healthcare training program within the next semester cycle.
